Selenium is a powerful antioxidant that works synergistically with vitamin E contributing to thyroid boosting. Some more benefits are: -Zinc helps the thyroid function by contributing to the conversion of thyroxine (T4) to triiodothyronine (T3). -Acerola fruit extract contains vitamin C, which is highly antioxidant and is essential to metabolize folic acid and tyrosine. -Vitamin D3 is an essential vitamin for normal thyroid function. -Vitamin B3 (niacin) is necessary for those suffering from hypothyroidism, as they usually have low vitamin B3 levels. -Vitamin B6 helps absorb vitamin B12, which is essential for digestion, protein synthesis and metabolism of carbohydrates and fats. -Folic acid works synergistically with vitamin B12 and is essential to metabolize proteins and to produce energy. -L-tyrosine plays an important role in the production of the basic thyroid hormones, triiodothyronine (T3) and thyroxine (T4). -Valerian extract (Valeriana officinalis), thanks to its calming effect, is helpful for proper thyroid function. -Lemon balm extract (Melissa officinalis) helps to normalize TSH and hyperthyroidism. -Evening primrose extract (Oenothera biennis) is high in GLA (Gamma Linolenic Acid) which can not be synthesized in an organism suffering from hypothyroidism. -Withania extract (Withania somnifera) stimulates the thyroid while regulating thyroid hormones.
